SOY

PARAFFIN

• Derived from petroleum, a limited resource

• The burning of paraffin wax contributes to indoor air contamination by emitting petro-chemicals causing soot deposits and carcinogenic particulate matter.

• This wax contains petroleum by-products and additives that inhibit biodegradability.

• Paraffin wax residue is quite troublesome, often impossible, to remove.

The majority of scented candles on the market are made of petroleum by-products, including paraffin wax which been proven to emit carcinogens and are harmful to both your health and home.

Our wax is made from soy beans, a renewable natural resource that supports sustainable agriculture. It is biodegradable and environmentally friendly. Soy wax candles burn cleaner and longer than paraffin. Soy wax candles are practically soot free and do not emit black soot deposit (BSD) characteristic of paraffin candles. The soy wax we use is ethically sourced American grown soy free from GM material, pesticides and herbicides.

Soy wax can also easily be washed out of fabric and surfaces without leaving an oil residue as is common with paraffin waxes. In addition all of our glass tumblers can be washed out and either reused as drinking glasses or recycled.

Most candles advertised as natural or soy usually contain a blend of vegetable wax and as much as 70% paraffin wax. Ours are not!

Environmentally Friendly - our candles are made from soy beans grown from a renewable source and are biodegradable. They do not contain petroleum, animal products, fixatives, or chemical glosses, and involve no cruelty to animals. All candles are natural white.

Longer Lasting - lasts up to 50% longer than candles made of petroleum-based paraffin, the ingredient found in most candles.

Richer Fragrance - burns slower and cooler helping throw the scent further when lit and keeps your room fragranced even when not in use.

Non-toxic - is less likely to trigger allergies and produces very little soot. Easy to clean up with soap and water.

Packaging

Each candle is carefully packaged in a luxurious box printed with soy based inks, ensuring your candle arrives in perfect condition!

All these factors lend themselves to being more animal and child friendly than traditional candles and are a pleasure in any room.

Please note that soy wax is a natural product which may contract from the glass in cold and expand in warmth - this is completely natural and does not affect the scent or burning time of your candle.
